GHRIET Nagpur (formerly GHRIIT) -MBA offers a two-year, full-time MBA program, designed to equip young graduates to accept leadership roles in a highly complex but active global business scenario. It has been playing a leading role in imparting quality management education along with all-inclusive development. In addition to routine curriculum, it has incorporated a diverse range of value added activities aimed at modernization, application and spreading management knowledge and practices. The department gives students a deep understanding and insight into business operations and best practices.

HOD Profile

Dr. Pradnya Bhandare is the HOD of MBA department. She happens to be a distinguished academician who has earned her Doctorate in Marketing from the prestigious Savitribai Phule University, Pune. She has a relentless engagement with higher education in different roles such as professor, researcher, and marketer as she has 15 long years of teaching experience. She taught an array of subjects in marketing specialization and has been a mentor for many generations as a professor.

Dr. Pradnya earned many accolades in her career and has presented several papers at National and International Conferences. She has numerous research publications to her credit, and recently she has published three papers in SCOPUS. And published 2 Patents in the month of September.

Due to her unique approach and excellent communication skills, she is the chosen guest lecturer in and around Pune. During her career, she has delivered many guest lectures at different colleges in and around Pune. Besides, she was invited to deliver a career guidance lecture at T Jon College, Bangalore.

She is known for bringing dreams into reality. Her active participation in organizing National Level workshops and Seminars on emerging areas of Finance, HR, and Marketing added value to those events. Besides, she coordinated tours and cultural activities for Business Schools and Management Colleges students at various institutions.

Apart from having a significant experience in teaching and placements, her passion to transform students into assets and responsible citizens makes her rise above and beyond.

    Engineering Graduates will be able to:

  • 1. Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • 2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • 3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  • 4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • 5. Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
  • 6. The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  • 7. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
  • 8. Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
  • 9. Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
  • 10. Communication: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
