“Antaragni2K23” Inaugurated at G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur”

G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur organized its annual sports and cultural festival Antaragni 2023. The annual sports and Cultural carnival is scheduled on from April 3rd to 8th, 2023. The annual sports gathering Antaragni provides the platform to students to showcase their talents in sports. Total 15 sports event spanning various sports, including cricket, basketball, futsal, volleyball, and chess, etc., the fest had something for everyone. Students competed in individual and team-based competitions.

“Techkrunch 2023 Inauguration Ceremony at Ghrietn”

The Artificial Intelligence Department of G H Raisoni Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur along with the MCA Department hosted the Inaugural Ceremony of TECHKRUNCH 2k23.

TECHKRUNCH is a platform that provides an opportunity for students to showcase their talent in various fields of technology. With 10 departments, including Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Engineering, Data Science, Cyber Security, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, MBA, and MCA have created a diverse platform for students to participate in. Each department has a unique set of events that cater to different interests and skill sets.

“TECHKRUNCH 2K23” is a 2-day long event conducted from 28th to 29th March 2023. The events in each department are carefully curated to showcase the latest developments in the respective fields.

The event was anchored by Mr. Pratham Dongre and Ms. Deepali Gawande , students of 4^th semester, Artificial Intelligence. After welcoming the guest florally, the official banner of TECHKRUNCH 2K23 was revealed by Mr. Om Barde and Mr. Akash Chhagani , the Presidents of AI Forum and MCA Forum respectively.

There was a briefing of the TECHKRUNCH 2k23 by Ms. Ruhi Gedam , Vice President of AI Club.

Mr. Ajit Dharmik was the Chief Guest for this Inaugural Ceremony who is Director of 6 Simplex software Solutions Pvt Ltd Nagpur. Mr. Ajit Dharmik is a proud native of Nagpur city. He completed his schooling, college and graduation from Nagpur and obtained a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University, USA. His association with several business networks, collaboration with technology giants and educational institutions and partnerships with a large number of Govt organizations has given him a 360 degree view of the problems that could be solved by using geospatial technology at the Government and Enterprise levels.

The Chief Guest Mr. Ajit Dharmik then shared with us a small fragment of his immense knowledge followed by our Honorable Director, Dr. Vivek Kapur Sir, addressed the gathering. The ceremony ended with a formal Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Nishi Zargar of the MCA Department.

We thank Director Dr.Vivek Kapur Sir, HOD-AI Dr. Smita Nirkhi Coordinator, HOD-MCA Dr.Sandhya Dahake Coordinator and the team members of TECHKRUNCH 2K23 for making this event a grand success.

International AI Summit #2: A Huge Success in G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology Nagpur, India on 27 th and 28 th January 2023.

The 2-day International AI Summit #2, organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and IEEE Student Branch at G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, was a huge success. The event brought together leading experts in the field of artificial intelligence to discuss and explore the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the industry.The 2-day summit was inaugurated on 27 th Jan 2023 in presence of Chairman RGI, Shri. Sunil Raisoni, Director GHRIET, Dr. Vivek Kapur, Chief Guest Mr. Kamlesh Nagware CTO, Snapper FutureTech, Pune and Guest of Honor Dr. Celia Shahnaz, 2023 IEEE WIE Global Chair. The summit featured keynote speeches, technical sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops on a wide range of topics related to artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing.

The keynote speakers included renowned International and National AI experts from top organizations and universities who shared their insights and experiences on the latest trends and challenges in the field. The technical sessions and panel discussions provided 450+ attendees around the globe with the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking debates and to share their own experiences and best practices. The 2-day International AI Summit #2 was an invaluable platform for AI professionals, students, and researchers to network, learn, and exchange ideas. The event received positive feedback from attendees, who praised the high-quality content and the opportunity to connect with experts in the field.

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and IEEE Student Branch at G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, would like to express their gratitude to all the attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers for their contributions to making this event a momentous success. G. H. Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology (GHRIET), Nagpur organized an Alumni Reunion “YAADEIN 2022”

G. H. Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology (GHRIET), Nagpur recently organized an Alumni Reunion. This is an annual event conducted for UG and PG students of 2019, 2020, and 2021 Batch on Saturday Jan 07, 2023 at 4:00 PM as a get-together cum interactive session of alumni, staff & students. GHRIETN is connected with more than 2000 alumni and is continuous in touch with them. Dr.Vivek Kapur, Director, Dr.M.Gupta, Coordinator G.H.Raisoni Alumni Foundation, Ms. Deepa Telang, Coordinator GHRIETN, faculty members, more than 384 Alumni, media persons and few parents were present in the auditorium.

Hon’ble Director Dr.Vivek Kapur addressed the Alumni and appreciated them for becoming a part of Alumni Reunion. He appealed all alumni to remain connected and also focused on three main objectives of alumni foundation i.e. connect alumni, engage alumni & benefit alumni. Dr.Achal Sahare, Registrar of GHRIETN, in his speech explained development of new skills, new courses and admission done in GHRIETN. The function included various fun and games activities for the alumni students which they enjoyed with great enthusiasm. They also shared their experiences in Professional career and evoke all touching moments that they spent in their college days. During an interactive session, valuable suggestions came; even many alumni are keen to guide their juniors. They proposed to have some activity of skill development for them at the institute in coming days.

They assured to remain in contact with maximum students of GHRIETN.This was followed by Alumni autograph signing and distribution of gift as a token of love. The alumni were ecstatic and beaming with joy, taking photographs / selfies with their gifts. The excitement of coming back to college after a gap of about 3 years and meeting friends and faculties could be seen on their faces. On the whole, the overall atmosphere was full of joy and enthusiasm. Alumni Coordinators, faculty members of the Alumni Reunion, Deans and heads of department were appreciated for successful conduction of the event. By having such moments, the RGI tagline VISION BEYOND is really becoming true. The program concluded with the vote of thanks by alumni Incharge Ms Deepa Telang.

“International Women's Day Celebration at GHRIETN”

G H Raisoni Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur has organized the celebration of “International Women's Day” on 8 th March 2023.

The celebration was followed by a very interactive Doctor’s session from 4:30pm to 5:30 pm. This program was conducted to encourage the female staff of the campus. In this session, core committee members of the AI department had actively organized the event.

Prof.Tabassum H Khan and Prof.Shweta Bhelonde conducted the event and appreciated the female faculties of GHRIETN with their achievements and acknowledged them.

In this seminar the Chief Guest was Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist Dr.Deepti Kiratkar. She is Director of Anmol Maternity and Nursing Home, National faculty at 'Moot Court ', which represents the Medicolegal issues of medical practice. She guided about the:

• Self-care for women
• 4 Types of common Cancers in women
• Symptoms of cancers
• Precautions for cancers

AI Student Juhi Thakur along with their team worked tirelessly under the supervision of Prof.Tabassum H Khan Faculty coordinator to make the Celebration successful. We thank Director Dr.Vivek Kapur Sir, HOD-AI Dr. Smita Nirkhi Ma’am for making this event a grand success.
